Join us for a dino-themed Father's Day event!

Guests will receive early access to the Dinosaurs! Exhibit, plus access to all CSC exhibits at 10AM. Guests can participate in Dino-themed activities including Dino Cart, Fossil Hunt, a raffle, and more! Donuts, juice, and coffee will be provided.

Tickets

Pre-purchased tickets for this event are required to reserve your spot. Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket purchase includes admission to the event + all CSC exhibits.

  • Non-Members Adult 18+: $21 
  • Non-Members Youth (3-17), Senior 62+, Military: $19 
  • Members: $5 
  • Children under 3 are free

CSC Members

Member discount for free admission will be applied during check-out after sing-in. Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot. Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To receive your member discount for pre-registration, select the Register link in the top right corner of the screen to set up your login credentials. Your login email and address must exactly match the information we have on file with your membership. If the information is entered in differently, the system may not recognize your membership discount.   • Time: 9 AM - 10AM
  • Location: CSC Building - North Lobby
  • What to Expect: CSC will open the doors to the North Lobby at 9AM. Guests will receive early access to the Dinosaurs! Exhibit, plus access to all CSC exhibits at 10AM. Guests can participate in Dino-themed activities including Dino Cart, Fossil Hunt, a raffle, and more! Donuts, juice, and coffee will be provided.
  • Tickets: Tickets purchased online may be redeemed during check-in at the admission desk. You may present a printout of your ticket or display the ticket electronically on your mobile device for check-in at the admission desk. Check your spam folder if you don't see your confirmation e-mail.

General Admission tickets may be purchased at an admission desk on-site or in advance online. An admission ticket purchased online is single-use and may be redeemed during check-in at the admission desk. 

You may present a printout of your ticket or display the ticket electronically on your mobile device for check-in at the admission desk. Check your spam folder if you don't see your confirmation e-mail.

General Admission tickets include one full day of admission to Catawba Science Center, including all exhibit areas, the planetarium, and the aquarium. Special programs and events are excluded from General Admission. Business hours are Wednesday through Saturday 10am - 4pm, and Sunday 1pm - 4pm.

  • Times: Laser Prince at 7:15pm, Laser Michael will show at 6 pm and 8:30pm. (Aquarium building doors open at 5:30pm. Our main building will not be open.)
  • Location: CSC Millholland Planetarium
  • What to Expect: Check-in at the Aquarium Building & feel free to explore. The planetarium doors will open 5 minutes prior to show time.
  • Tickets: Tickets purchased online may be redeemed during check-in at the admission desk. You may provide your name, present a printout of your ticket, or display the ticket electronically on your mobile device for check-in at the admission desk. Check your spam folder if you don't see your confirmation e-mail.
  • Additional Info: Tickets not claimed by showtime will be resold to in-person attendees. Planetarium doors close and lock 5 minutes after the show starts and cannot be reopened. (Unlike movie theaters, there is no way to admit late visitors without disrupting the experience for guests.) No food or drink is allowed in the planetarium. Tickets are non-refundable.
