Science After Dark - Spooky Science Night
Can you brave the night of spooktacular games and bewitching battles? Summon your squad and prepare for a night of frightful fun! Take on chilling Minute to Win It challenges, don your best costume for a haunting contest, and experience captivating planetarium shows. Beer and wine will be available for a donation. Come if you dare...to Spooky Science Night on October 16th from 6 - 9 PM, at the Catawba Science Center.
Tickets
Pre-purchased tickets for this event are required to reserve your spot. Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
CSC Members
Members receive discounted admission to this event as part of your member benefits, but pre-registration is required to reserve your spot. Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To receive your member discount for pre-registration, select the Register link in the top right corner of the screen to set up your login credentials. Your login email and address must exactly match the information we have on file with your membership. If the information is entered in differently, the system may not recognize your membership discount. - What to Expect: Enjoy a spooky night at CSC! Engage in spooktacular challenges (Minute to Win It mini games) and see planetarium shows (titles to be determined) at 6:30 PM or 7:30 PM (based on seat availability). Come dressed in your Halloween costume to win a prize in the costume contest. Beer & wine will also be available for a donation. Doors open at 5:30 PM.
- Tickets: Tickets purchased online may be redeemed during check-in at the admission desk. You may provide your name used for purchase or present a printout of your ticket or display the ticket electronically on your mobile device for check-in at the admission desk. Check your spam folder if you don't see your confirmation e-mail.
- Additional Info: Tickets not claimed by showtime will be resold to in-person attendees. Planetarium doors close and lock 5 minutes after show start and cannot be reopened. (Unlike movie theaters, there is no way to admit late visitors without disrupting the experience for guests.) No food or drink allowed in the planetarium.
