Animal Painting Day
Step into the extraordinary world where creativity and animal instincts collide! Join us for a one of a kind art experience as you co-create a masterpiece with CSC animals on December 21st at 1 and 2 PM, in the Aquarium building. This event is perfect for animal lovers (including snakes) and art enthusiasts like!

CSC Members
Members receive discounted admission to this event as part of your member benefits, but pre-registration is required to reserve your spot. Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your membership must remain valid throughout participation in the program.
To receive your member discount for pre-registration, select the Register link in the top right corner of the screen to set up your login credentials. Your login email and address must exactly match the information we have on file with your membership. Event Details
- Dates and Times: Saturday, December 21st 1:00-1:30pm, and 2:00-2:30pm
- Location: Special Events Room in the Aquarium/Planetarium Building
- What to Expect: Check-in at the Aquarium building and join us in the special events room. Decorate an 8x8 canvas using the supplies provided, add your name to your piece. Painting will begin at 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM and will include two animals painting four canvases each facilitated by animal care staff for 15 mins. We will swap out animals after 15 mins for a new pair who will be also painting four canvases each. After your canvas has been painted you will be provided a plastic bag for transport (these will be wet so be careful) and a label with information about the animal artist to attach to the back once it is dry. Please Arrive on time for your session.
- Tickets: maximum 3 participants per canvas, adult required
- Additional Info: Tickets will be available for purchase in-person the day of the event. Do not touch the animals without permission from CSC staff. No food or drink is allowed during this event. Tickets are non-refundable.
